Not sure about the rest of the world but certainly in the UK for many years in fact zillions since i was a child , the size of confectionery bars, packets of crisps ( potato chips) has been decreasing at an alarming rate, and the prices at a similar rate have increased. Now due to obesity on a huge scale in England the food standard agency is asking companies to reduce the size of the packets. I always knew that one day they would be charging for fresh air but i thought that it would be in the form of yet another government tax. Do you think these agencies are getting a kick back from the food manufactures to help make more profits. Maybe they should put them back to normal size there was little obesity when i was a kid, you could only eat 1 bar a day since you were full. Mind you we had proper cooked meals on the table not fast food everyday.
